<p><strong>June 30 2023.</strong> DignityUSA is extremely disappointed with today's Supreme Court ruling that means that LGBTQIA+ citizens have less access to the &nbsp;nation's businesses and services than others.</p><p>DignityUSA signed &nbsp;an amicus brief in the 303 Creative L.L.C. v. Elenis case arguing that most people of faith including the majority of Catholics believe that religious belief should not be grounds to refuse service on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. And the amicus brief notes: for many decades this Court and the lower courts have recognized that people engaged in commercial activities open to the public cannot thwart anti-discrimination laws.&nbsp;</p><p>We are heartbroken that this Pride Month ends with such a stark reminder that inequity and discrimination still make life harder for our community.
