Dignity/San Antonio meets every Sunday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Sunday Feb.19 2017 we had our regular monthly chapter business meeting. To prepare for the upcoming Dignity USA National Conference we have a sponsored dinner prepared by our members who volunteer for the month. Sylvia Delos Santos and her partner Terri provided a great dinner consisting of Crispy Beef Tacos Chalupas and all the fixings. The money raised that evening will go towards our scholarship funds for attending the DignityUSA conference. We all enjoyed the fabulous dinner and fellowship that evening.

On Sunday February 26 2017 we celebrated our liturgy with Fr. Jim who is a wonderful homilist and a great speaker. After our liturgy we gathered in the dining area and enjoyed a potluck dinner. After everyone had a chance to enjoy their meal we listened to Fr. Jim our guest speaker for the evening. The topic he chose was Spiritual Direction. Fr. Jim explained how important our spiritual journey is with God and how we all need to cultivate our faith to walk with each other forgive and support each other. We must help those in need and give of ourselves without expectations. And to remember most importantly The Lord will provide.

Our chapter will be celebrating Psalm Sunday out at Raymond Russell Park in April. Once again we are looking forward to another successful art show to be held in the month of May. Most of the art work displayed will be made by our talented chapter members. We will be busy these next few months and look forward to seeing friends from around the country at the National Conference in July!
